#ICelebrateYou - Mara Tolja

Mara Tolja is one of the kindest, most generous, lovely human beings I know. ❤️

We worked together for well over a decade, riding on a corporate rollercoaster at Deutsche Bank and then a very different rollercoaster as midlife start-up founders.

We collaborated and co-created, built communities, experimented, failed, and celebrated together. (We also <ahem> drank too much gin and I slept on her family’s couch. But that’s another story! :-))

Mara brought warmth and caring to the #Working Out Loud Community, especially in Asia pacific where she led WOL programs and spread Circles all over the region. Everyone who knows Mara speaks of her in glowing terms. She is respected and appreciated around the world.

Inspired by how she works and by her expertise in Communities of Practice, I shared her story in Chapter One of Working Out Loud. I continue to be a huge fan of hers more than ten years later.
